Treated very well, and fast service, excellent tasting dishes, vegetarian minded, variety of beverages... To your preference, spicy, hot, or mild dishes ... elgallo chicken or steak with avocado or Piccadilly? Onions, tomatoes, hot green peppers, chopped finely, both have a fresh unique flavor, and you will always take the left overs back home...

Paid 14 dollars. Heard from someone down south this place was best up north for Mexican food. Now I see why. Very happy

So kind and welcoming, this is my “spot” so they always greet me with a smile and remember me. Never felt unwelcome. Prices are fine too, I mean compared to Taco Bell at this point they’re pretty equivalent. And I like to support a local spot. Steak taco dinner is my go to, and you can’t beat the late hours.

Just stopped by to get a burrito because I was hungry and had missed lunch. The burrito was great, a generous amount of steak and other fillings. The service was quick and friendly.

This is the real deal. Great food that comes out fast at a cheap price. The music and chips & salsa made me feel at home as a Texas transplant who always craves Mexican food

(This is NOT a paid review!) Tldr; the tacos here taste EXACTLY like food truck tacos I had at the taco festival in Pilsen. The food: This is the ultimate post-smoke stop. The tacos are reasonably priced, and the amount of actual beef in my carne asada tacos is waaaay more than when I have to pay 4-5 downtown for an equivalent experience. The beans are tasty. Are these the best tacos on Earth? No. Will you like your order? Post-Smoke, 1000%. Pre-Smoke: yes, but not 1000%. Edit: The horchata is not my favorite. It reminds me a little of potpourri, but the taste version. The staff: the woman who took my order was polite, kind, and in my opinion, exceptionally friendly. I have social anxiety and didn't feel the sense of impending doom at all in this place. The atmosphere: I read the reviews for 5-10 minutes before getting out of the car and walking in. Photos were posted of the bathroom, so I took more, because it was really clean. The sink was literally cleaner than any home I've been a guest in, ever. It's an older building, and we are ALL on a budget, so everything isn't the newest-shiniest, but who cares. Summary: my total was less than 20 for a side of refried beans, medium horchata, 3 carne asada tacos, limes, and verde salsa. I hope this helps your decision! I'm sending well wishes and positivity your way.

It's one of my favorite spots in the city for a quick burrito. They have a huge menu but the classics are the best. The steak burrito option is by and large my favorite and they have wonderful horchata
